It’s that time of the year again: the 2024/25 season is to begin with a planned start in the week commencing Monday Oct 14th!  Captains have been contacted and the Fixture Secretary will circulate fixtures imminently.  As soon as the fixtures are available, they will also be published on the website here.

You’ll all be pleased to know that during the summer break the refurbishment of the Redditch Borough alley has gone ahead and we now have a pristine new alley to bowl on.  Many thanks to Jim and Mark of the Bolts for their hard work.

At the last A.G.M. in June the team captains agreed one rule change that will come into effect this season: re-standing pins will now be considered dead if the pin re-stands outside of the pin diamond (rule 11).  You will find a painted diamond at all alleys starting this season to facilitate the rule change.  The full rules are available here.

Lastly, a reminder that completed match scoresheets/photos can be submitted online here.  The submission tool automatically sends the scoresheet to all the relevant people.  Of course, if you prefer, teams can continue to email the scoresheets to Glyn, Len & Dan as in previous years.
